Ex-RN Aircraft Mechanic who has spent more than a few years in Norway on the Junglie squadrons, completing Cold Weather Survival and operated at temps. as low as -20ºC! Was involved in the '91 Gulf War so complete extremes of climate experienced; our motto out there was "Arctic trained, temperate clothed - Dumped in the Desert!"

Love being outdoors, especially in woodland and partake in wild camping where possible, preferring my hammock to sleeping on the ground! True believer in keeping the skills of Bushcraft alive as you never know when it will get you out of a tricky situation and I'm always trying to learn!
